Not sure it's right for your lawn? Answer four questions and we'll tell you straight.

Your lawn isn't a color problem. It's a soil problem.

Most lawn products are built to turn grass green as fast as possible. They flood the surface with synthetic salts, force a quick flush of top growth, and leave the soil underneath as tired as they found it.

Humic+ works the other way around. It's a concentrated soil conditioner built on three ingredients with real published evidence behind them, and it's made to run alongside your fertilizer, not replace it. In a two-year Iowa State lawn trial, reduced-rate nitrogen plus humic held Kentucky bluegrass quality equal to full-rate nitrogen. Humic with no nitrogen at all fell below acceptable. Keep your program. This makes it work harder.

5.01%

Humic acid

From leonardite. Switches on the root's proton pump and acts like a rooting hormone: more side roots, longer root hairs. Root mass rose 34% in Virginia Tech sod trials.

0.42%

Fulvic acid

Small, mobile molecules that carry iron, zinc and manganese into the plant. Better micronutrient uptake is the one humic claim California permits on a label.

Ascophyllum nodosum

Sea kelp

Signals rather than feeds. The whole extract raised turf cytokinins 28 to 39% and heat-stressed quality 26 to 34%. Burned to ash, it did nothing.

Honest about the limits.

Response is largest on tired, sandy, low-organic-matter ground and smallest on soil that's already rich and well fed. We'd rather you know that before you buy.

Read the evidence review

  • It won't hold water in your lawn.
  • It won't add meaningful organic matter.
  • It won't improve wear tolerance.
  • It won't cure lawn disease.
  • It won't green you up by the weekend.Judge it in August, not next Saturday.

How fast will I see something?

Honestly, not fast. Hormone-level responses begin within about 72 hours, but the visible change is in the root system. Across the turf research, rooting improves while appearance often doesn't. Judge it in August, not next Saturday.

Will it work on my lawn?

It depends more on your soil than on the bottle. Tired, sandy, compacted or stressed ground responds most. Rich, well-fed ground responds least. Answer four questions and we'll tell you straight.

Which size should I get?

The 32 oz covers up to 32,000 sq ft, about three quarters of an acre. If your lot is bigger, or you also treat beds, trees and shrubs, the 128 oz covers roughly three acres at less than half the cost per ounce.

Can I use more to get faster results?

No, and please don't. Every dose-response study in our review found an optimum, with decline or harm above it. In one trial a fulvic acid drench cut tomato shoot weight by up to 74% and caused iron and manganese toxicity. Our rate is deliberately conservative.

Do I still need fertilizer?

Yes. Humic+ makes fertilizer work harder; it doesn't replace it. A field meta-analysis of 479 observations found humic acid raised nitrogen use efficiency 27%, but humic with no nitrogen fell below acceptable lawn quality in a two-year Iowa State trial.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Thirty-day money-back guarantee. Try it on your worst patch of yard. If it isn't for you, email us and we'll refund it. You won't have to fight us for it, and you can keep the bottle.

When will I get my order?

Orders ship free from our farm in Delaware, usually within 1 to 2 business days, with tracking by email.
